An accident in Bay County this weekend has left one man dead.
Bay County officials said John Jay Thornton of Panama City Beach was killed when his car crossed in to oncoming traffic on Transmitter Road.
He collided with an SUV driven by Jose Sanchez of Tyndall Air Force Base.
Sanchez was taken to Bay Medical. An investigation into the accident is continuing.
