A 20-year-old Henry County man died and another man escaped injury in a single-vehicle accident this weekend.
State troopers said John Scott of Abbeville died Saturday at about 5:45 p.m. on County Road 57, about three miles Northeast of Abbeville.
He was a passenger in a car driven by 22-year-old David Harper Jones. Troopers said Jones overcorrected after losing control while driving into a turn.
Scott was not wearing a seatbelt.
