Arrest Made After Contraband Found
Quick thinking correctional officers at the Coffee County Jail discovered some unusual contraband.
Authorities arrested Tammy Gail Rushworth after she allegedly concealed marijuana in clothes she was leaving for her boyfriend Wednesday afternoon.
Friends and family of inmates are allowed to bring personal belongings to prisoners at the jail facility in new Brockton once a week.
The 32-year-old Kinston resident is now "behind bars" as well. She is charged with promoting prison contraband, which is a felony.
