On Sundays in Dothan, you can only drink alcohol at a local bar or restaurant if you have a club membership at those establishments.
But this could soon change, if city leaders approve a referendum on Sunday liquor sales.
Last year, Dothan city officials began talking about the possibility of letting voters decide whether to allow the sale of alcohol on Sundays, and whether to allow draft beer in the Circle City.
And with the state legislature convening this week, some city officials believe the timing is right for another discussion on a referendum.
Dothan city leaders will discuss Sunday liquor and draft beer sales Tuesday during their commission meeting.
