Around 2100 Alabama National Guard members are deployed overseas and HIS Radio in Dothan is working to send messages of inspiration to each of them.
One of the station's DJ's has compiled a CD called "Threads of Hope" that's designed to encourage the men and women in the field.
So the station is asking the public to help out by donating CD players and batteries.
You can drop them off Thursday between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. at the Southside Wal-Mart in Dothan or you can stop by HIS Radio on Montgomery Highway by February 7.
