This Saturday will be a day to remember a fallen hero and a friend.
The first Annual Jackson County Law Enforcement Community Golf Tournament will be held at the Marianna Oaks Golf Course.
Proceeds from the event will go to Deputy Mike Altman Memorial Fund. It'll help Deputy Altman's widow and children.
Last month, Altman and Sheriff John McDaniel's wife, Mellie were killed during an assault by two gunmen at the sheriff's Marianna home.
The gunmen were killed as well.
The tournament will consist of two flights.
The first will tee-off at 8AM Saturday morning and the second group begins at 1PM that afternoon.
A three person scramble will cost $60-dollars per person.
