An Amber Alert has been issued regarding a missing child from Niceville, Florida.
The Niceville Police Department and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement are looking for 15 year-old Janelle Angelea Adkins.
She was last seen at her residence in the Niceville area and is believed to be in danger.
She’s 5 feet 1 inch tall, 105 pounds with brown hair, blue eyes, and braces.
Janelle was last seen wearing white shorts, white tennis shoes, and a long-sleeved blue shirt with the restaurant name "Fudpucker's" on it.
Authorities believe Janelle may be in a 1999 Green Ford Pickup Florida Tag G94 KVQ or a 1999 Blue Chevy SUV with dark tinted windows, chrome "spinner" rims, and Florida Tag G57 AEL.
Authorities believe a 15-year-old Panhandle girl may have been kidnapped and police plan to question a former co-worker found in Slocomb, Alabama.
Investigators suspect Adkins, a top student and soccer star at Rocky Bayou Christian School, was kidnapped because she has no history of running away, was not dressed for the cold night and left without her purse, cellular telephone and other personal items.
Niceville Police Lt. Jason Fulgham said the girl was not with 23-year-old Alex Gonzalez when he was located in Slocomb, about 75 miles northeast of Niceville.
Her father said she apparently left her bedroom through a window after the screen had been cut. There were no signs of a struggle in the room.
If you have any information on Janelle’s whereabouts you are asked to contact the Florida Department of Law Enforcement or the Niceville Police Department at (850) 410-7000 or (850) 729-4030.
