A Henry County man convicted of murder will not be getting out of prison any time soon.
District Attorney Doug Valeska went to Montgomery Monday to block Henry Hamilton’s parole.
Hamilton has spent the last ten years in prison for the 1992 murder of Roy Stanford.
The murder happened outside a Henry County nightclub when Hamilton shot Stanford through his car window with a shotgun.
The next parole opportunity for Hamilton will be in three years.
