Alzheimer's Walk

The Alzheimer's Resource Center is preparing for this year's "Walk To Remember."

Last year's walk was a huge success, raising about $60,000.

The purpose of the annual walk is to raise awareness of the devastating impact of Alzheimer's on the victim and the caregivers.

The money raised is used to provide emotional and financial support for families and victims of Alzheimer's in Southeast Alabama and Northwest Florida.

Barbara Everett is the Chairperson for this year's walk. This year's walk will be held on Oct. 5 at Dothan's Westgate Park starting at 9 a.m. Everyone is invited to participate.
