Space Camp

The U.S. Space and Rocket Center is looking for team leaders and camp counselors for its Space Camp and Aviation Challenge programs for children.

Aviation Challenge, opened in 1990, works with a realistic military fighter pilot curriculum that involves land and water-based survival training taught be military officials.

Space Camp is entering its 23rd season, and often sees graduates return from year to year.

The center is holding a job fair Jan. 13 and 14 to attract applicants to the programs.

The positions involve four weeks paid training and include free meals, uniforms, discounts and paid time off. The programs require applicants with at least two years of college, and preferably experience in working with children.
