For the second straight year, all Elba High Seniors are on track to graduate and receive a diploma.
Whether it's reading, language, or social studies, Janna Curtis is available to help a student who is having difficulty in the classroom.
Curtis is in her third-year as a remediation teacher.
Elba school officials believe that one-on-one work with students is a big reason for the 100 percent graduation rate, two years in a row.
"We use a lot of power point, and word games when it comes to science and social studies and we do a lot of breaking down a lot of the grammar," said Curtis.
School officials in Elba and nearly all Wiregrass districts continue to work on ways to keep students from dropping out.
That remains a big problem throughout Alabama.
