A Pittsburgh woman is being held without bond after allegedly attacking a federal air marshal on a Northwest Airlines flight to Minnesota.
The U.S. Attorney's office has charged Dawn Sunday with assaulting a federal officer and interfering with a flight crew.
The complaint alleges Sunday was intimidating passengers on the flight yesterday, and refusing to allow them in or out of the restroom.
When an air marshal tried to calm her, she allegedly became more belligerent and threatened to kill him. She was arrested after she allegedly hit and tried to choke the air marshal.
The air marshal says the woman later kicked him in the groin. When the flight arrived in the Twin Cities, she allegedly tried to bite an airport police officer and had to be tackled.
