A local organization is asking the community to help prevent child abuse.
The Child Advocacy Center in Dothan is selling t-shirts to keep its facility running.
The shirts are $10 dollars a piece.
The center is asking the community to buy a shirt and wear it every Friday in April.
This is the organization's largest fundraiser of the year and all monies stay in the Wiregrass.
Exec. Director Sherryl Walker says, “All money goes to provide services like forensic interviews, therapy and court support services. No family pays for services at the center.”
To get an order form for a t-shirt you can contact the Child Advocacy Center at 671-1779.
