Alabama's seven super delegates to the Democratic National Convention are mostly steering clear of giving a firm endorsement like former presidential nominee Al Gore.
Some say they may vote for Gore's choice, former Vermont Governor Howard Dean. But one delegate promises Dean is the one candidate he absolutely won't vote for. Most say they are undecided about who they will support at next summer's convention in Boston. Democratic Party committee member Amy K- Burks of Decatur says she'll probably support Dean.
State representative Alvin Holmes of Montgomery says he's leaning toward voting for Senator Joseph Lieberman. But Holmes says he's undecided about all but one thing, he won't vote for Dean, who Holmes calls, "a hypocrite and not honest."
