Freeport Arrests

Three suspects have been arrested in Northwest Florida for the armed robbery of a convenience store.

Around 8:20 p.m. Monday, Walton County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a robbery at the Shell Station in Freeport.

The store clerk reported that a man held her at knifepoint and stole money from the register and drop safe. Some tobacco products were also taken.

The Walton County Sheriff's Department K-9 Unit followed a trail to a nearby apartment complex.

The deputies saw three men who fit the description given by the store clerk, and deputies allegedly found items in the car that matched the description of those that had been stolen from the store.

Twenty-three-year-old Brodie Timbrook of Fort Walton Beach, 19-year-old Joseph Corey Justis and a juvenile were arrested.

Timbrook is charged with armed robbery and is being held without bond. Justis is charged with accessory after the fact in an armed robbery. He is also being held without bond.

The 14-year-old juvenile has been charged with principal to armed robbery for allegedly acting as a lookout.
