Dothan police are still searching for suspects in a couple of weekend armed robberies committed within minutes of each other.
The Cowboy’s Convenience Store at the corner of Headland Avenue and the Ross Clark Circle was held-up shortly after midnight Saturday night.
Investigators say three men entered the store wearing hooded jackets with their shirts pulled up over their faces. One of the suspects had a pistol. They robbed the clerk and a customer, and then fled on foot.
Less than a half-hour later around 12:30 Sunday morning, the Amoco Station on South Oates Street just outside the circle was also robbed.
Police say the description of the suspects matches the men from the first robbery right down to the handgun. Investigators are processing pictures from security cameras that could help identify the suspects.
