A fugitive considered armed and dangerous in Florida has been arrested in Geneva County.
U.S Marshals arrested 27-year-old Sunny Lee Thompson without incident at a Slocomb convenience store.
He's charged with attempted murder in connection with a drive-by shooting that left two men wounded in Fort Myers, Florida earlier this month.
Authorities say assault rifles were used in the attack.
Thompson is being held in the Geneva County Jail awaiting extradition back to Florida.
Two other suspects in the drive-by shooting were arrested in Fort Myers last week.
