Honda officials have announced the company would begin producing the Pilot SUV at the company’s plant in Talladega County.
Production of the pilot caps a $425 million expansion that added a Second assembly line at the plant.
The Talladega County Honda plant already makes the Odyssey Minivan.
Production of the pilot will start in April.
At full capacity, employment at the East Alabama factory will rise to about 4,300 workers.
