An announcement is expected Thursday on the actual name of a company moving to Marianna, Florida.
Project Raven has been the code name used to keep confidential the name of the company negotiating with local officials.
One month ago, Jackson County commissioners approved spending $2.5 million to bring utilities, water and sewer underneath Interstate 10.
The company plans to build a distribution center on a 90-acre site at the exit of Interstate 10 and Highway 276.
In addition, the county will spend $200,000 to locate a fire rescue station near the facility.
Marianna’s mayor says the company is promising to bring more than 400 good paying jobs to his city.
