More than 400-members of a nationally recognized organization gathered in Dothan Saturday.
The Dothan Elks lodge is hosting Elk members and their guests from lodges around the state.
The visitors are not only discussing ways to positively impact local children and veterans, but they're also boosting Dothan’s economy during their visit.
Elk members pride themselves in helping with community service projects and donating to local charities:
President AL Elks Assoc. Wayne Reuter said, “We are a service organization that tries to help youth, veterans and the needy and we are thankful to be here in Dothan.”
If you are interested in donating to the Dothan Elks lodge or would like more information on becoming a member, you can contact their office at 792-6767.
