Dothan city officials are one step closer to making a final decision on what to do with the Carver High School property.
Yesterday, the Wiregrass Habitat for Humanity presented its plans to city commissioners for building a 16-house subdivision on the Lake Street site.
Community activists also spoke addressing concerns about possible drops in home values if the subdivision is located on the site.
The commission is expected to reach a decision in the next two weeks.
