The Houston County Commission has agreed to help fund the county's adult daycare center.
The money will make it possible for the Wiregrass Rehabilitation Center to keep open the day care.
They are taking it over from the public health department.
The commission decided to give the organization $10,000 cash and $10,000 in fuel.
A similar request is being submitted to another local government agency.
The county commission said it would help with the funding if the city also agrees.
The senior center keeps about 15 seniors each day.
