A boating accident claimed the life of one woman over the weekend at Fort Walton Beach.
Yolanda Thomas died Saturday night at the Fort Walton Beach Medical Center from injuries she received after getting caught in a boat propeller while water skiing.
Thomas was water skiing with her husband Saturday. The accident happened when she tried to board their boat.
The death was the third death in the last three months in Okaloosa County.
The other deaths were from accidents also involving personal watercraft.
