Dothan's Public Works Department says they are not completely back on schedule after falling behind with the city's trash pickup.
Residents complained that their trash had been sitting in the front of their yards for weeks.
Public Works authorities say they are getting closer to catching up with their regular pick-up schedule.
“We're just unsure about what's out there ahead of us. When weather breaks out like this and all of our yard service guys get to moving, it dictates how fast we get to the next area,” said Bernard Ward, City of Dothan.
By the end of next week, the city's yard service department should get closer to meeting the demands of residents.
In three months, the city will invest in more trash pick-up equipment.
