A Dothan teenager was arrested following a high-speed chase this weekend from Ozark to Dothan.
18-year-old Taurus Simpson faces a host of charges in both cities, including theft, attempting to elude police and reckless endangerment.
Police say the chase began in Ozark when Simpson drove away from a service station without paying for gas early yesterday (Monday) morning.
The pursuit led into Dothan at speeds of more than 80-miles per hour.
Police finally managed to blow two tires on Simpson’s car.
Simpson crashed his car into a utility pole and overturned on 6th Avenue.
Police say Simpson was not seriously injured in the wreck.
