Enterprise's Baptist Hill Community is one of the oldest neighborhoods in the south. It was established in the 1880's.
This week, the Enterprise city council unanimously voted to upgrade Baptist Hill's recreation facility.
The city will spend $25,000 to put in restrooms at the Daisy Gibson Park.
A project long sought by Commissioner William Cooper.
“I know this was something that was on the agenda for quite a while. I took it on as a project. I am glad that it is gone on," said Cooper.
Besides the park improvements, a multi-million dollar water and sewer system upgrade was recently completed in Baptist Hill.
