Jackson County has two new cases of West Nile Virus and one new case of Eastern Equine Encephalitis.
Officials with the Florida Department of Health say each of the new cases has shown up in animals.
A Sentinel chicken in Marianna tested positive for Eastern Equine Encephalitis and another Sentinel chicken in Sneads has turned up with West Nile.
A horse in the Marianna area also has the disease.
So far, this year in Jackson County 46 birds and other animals have tested positive for West Nile.
And there are three known animal cases of Encephalitis.
So far, no humans have come down with either of the mosquito borne virus in Jackson County this year.
