ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT SEATS
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - See a game and stuff your face. Several major league ball clubs are trying something new this season --
all-you-can-eat seats. Fans are able to pig out in the ballpark. Charlie Romain went to a recent Minnesota Twins game as an early 22nd birthday feast. In just an hour, he managed to down four hot dogs, three orders of nachos, a pretzel and some popcorn. Team officials note they're aren't any extra innings for the food. The all-can-eat-deal ends at 9 p.m., no matter how long the game goes. And fans still have to buy their own beer.

CRUISER KISSES
CANTON, Ohio (AP) - It's a case of kiss and tell. But this time it's a police cruiser's dashboard video cam that's the tattletale. Part-time police officer Janine England has been stripped of her badge for sharing kisses with the police chief of Perry Township, Ohio. England and Chief Timothy Escola smooched in the front seat of a cruiser while a prisoner was in the back. The on-duty lip-lock was recorded by a video camera in the cruiser. England resigned this week after township officials recommended she be fired. The chief retired June 30. Officials say a tip led them to check the cruiser's video recording.

SMOKING HAZARD
SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) - Smoking can be dangerous to your health --
as two Georgia inmates have learned the hard way. Chatham County deputies report two prisoners suffered minor burns in their cell. Guards say the men tried to light a handmade cigarette with a spark from an electrical socket. Smoking has been banned at the jail for more than a decade. But Deputy Ron Robinson says inmates still try to light up. He says they'll smoke anything from lettuce to the collard greens that are served at lunch. The two smoking inmates will likely face disciplinary action, but not criminal charges.

CADAVER EXHIBIT
BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) - San Diego artist Ariane Brittany wants to go on tour -- after she's dead. Brittany has signed on as a donor to "Body Worlds." The traveling exhibits feature actual human corpses with their skin removed and insides exposed. The bodies are preserved with a process that replaces fluids and tissue with plastic. Organizers say more than 10,000 people are now registered to become so-called "plastinates" after death, including Brittany. "Body Worlds" opens in western New York today, at the Buffalo Museum of Science.

MOVIE-ROBBER
SHELTON, Conn. (AP) - Kids -- don't try this at home. An accused bank robber says he was inspired by TV commercials for the new movie "Public Enemies." Shawn Gullberg is accused of robbing two banks in Shelton, Conn. According to police, Gullberg told them he got the idea for the bank jobs from a commercial for the new Johnny Depp film. It's about the infamous 1930s bank robber John Dillinger. Police say Gullberg wanted quick cash to buy drugs. He's already on probation and has served time on theft and burglary charges.

SHOELESS JOE
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - Just call the gov -- Shoeless Joe. West Virginia Governor Joe Manchin showed up at a news conference yesterday without his shoes. But the gov wasn't forgetful, just charitable. Manchin was barefooted to promote an international relief effort that provides shoes for children. Samaritan's Feet International wants to collect 10 million pairs of shoes for kids worldwide. So far, organizers say they've got nearly a million pairs.
