Newton Police Searching for Post Office Robber

Police need area residents’ help in catching a criminal who robbed the Newton Post Office Tuesday around 4PM.

Authorities say an African-American male entered the post office, jumped the counter and stole an undisclosed amount of money.

Officials say he then fled the scene in a silver four door car, heading north towards Ozark.

The suspect is described as six foot tall, with a medium build.

He was wearing a black wind suit with a cream and orange bandana and tinted sunglasses.
