LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. (AP) - Authorities say three people were killed when a private two-engine plane en route from Florida to Georgia crashed in an industrial park near an airport in the northeast Atlanta suburbs.
Officials say the Cessna 414 was on its way from Pembroke Pines, Florida to Gwinnett County's Briscoe Field when it crashed.
Lieutenant Craig Stanley of the Gwinnett County Fire Department confirms there were at least three fatalities. There's no immediate identification of the victims.
The plane is designed to carry seven passengers. It's not immediately known how many people were on board.
