Second Chance Body Armor operates a manufacturing plant in Geneva. And they are now working to fill orders for the U.S. Army.
Recently, the Michigan based company signed an $18 million contract to supply the Army with bulletproof vests and other protective gear.
Two years ago the company had 22 employees and today they have 150. That number will soon approach 200.
The company will soon open an additional production facility in an old 22,000 square foot building located across the street.
