A local family is mourning the loss of their daughter and police are filing manslaughter charges after a weekend fatal accident in Ozark.
The wreck happened at the intersection of Martin Luther King Junior Avenue and Highway 27.
Officials say 15-year-old Trivia Williams of Ozark was pronounced dead at Dale Medical Center after the SUV she was riding in went out of control, went airborne, and rolled at least three times.
There were seven people in the SUV at the time of the accident.
Five others were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Officials say the cause of the wreck is expected to be excessive speed and possibly alcohol.
The driver, 18-year-old Ashlie Ellen Broxson of Dothan, has been charged with manslaughter.
