HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) - Huntsville police are still investigating a late night shooting at a TGI Friday's restaurant that left one man dead and another fighting for his life.

Police said Tanqueray Beavers of Athens was shot dead. The 21-year-old was a former standout basketball player at Athens High School.

Injured in the shooting were 27-year-old Thurston Turner and 24-year-old Autora Rogers, both of Athens, and 33-year-old William Reliford of Hazel Green. Their medical conditions were not immediately available.

Police said the suspect -- 21-year-old Jamal Roydrick Woods - was arrested early this morning and charged with murder.

Wendell Johnson, a Huntsville police spokesman, said the shootings appeared to be connected to a dispute over Woods' girlfriend.
