Panama City Beach woman struck by car

Panama City Beach Police have named the victim in Friday night’s hit and run accident as Panama City Beach resident Lanny Spann.

The incident happened at Argonaut Street and Back Beach Road around 11:30p.m..

According to one of the Beef O Brady's managers Spann works there.

Apparently she left the restaurant just before 11:30p.m. and while attempting to cross the street to the Chevron gas station was struck by an east bound white SUV.

Spann was rushed to Bay Medical Center where she is being treated for a severe leg injury.

Panama City Beach Police are continuing their investigation into the incident.

Investigators are hoping to release surveillance video of the suspect's car.
