The star of the "World's Smallest St. Patrick’s Day Parade" has passed away.
Last march, the 76-year-old Pat Donahue walked alone waving an Irish flag down Main Street in Enterprise for what proved to be the final time.
It was a tradition even reported by the CBS network.
Donahue was the Special Olympics Alabama coordinator for bowling.
He also served in the U.S. Army for 30-years with tours in both Korea and Vietnam.
Donahue was laid to rest Sunday in Enterprise with more than a hundred friends in attendance.
