The Hartford Police Department is looking a lot like Santa’s North Pole workshop. It is part of that department's 3rd Annual Kids in Need Project.
Since October, Hartford Police Chief Greg Adams says his officers have been collecting new toys and clothes.
Later this month, the items will be distributed to 110 Geneva County children who might otherwise not receive a Christmas gift.
"We’ve had churches come in and ask to adopt a child's needs this Christmas and we've had businesses come forward, as well as individuals that want to be a part of it," said Chief Adams.
Hartford Police will continue collecting new toys and children's clothes through December 18th.
You can drop them off at the police department or the Geneva County Courthouse.
