Donation For Taylor Family

The town of Taylor is setting up a drop off point for people to donate to the family whose home was destroyed Wednesday in an early morning fire.

Fire officials say what started as a small kitchen fire quickly spread throughout the home.

Fortunately, there were no injuries.

It took firefighters about an hour to contain the blaze.

The drop off point is at the Taylor Town Hall.

A list of items needed by the family includes:

  • The 19-month-old baby needs diapers, stage three, iron-advanced formula, and 9 to 12 month old clothing.
  • The 12-year-old wears a size 18 husky pants, and a men's medium shirt.
  • The 15-year-old girl wears a size 5-7 pants and medium shirts.
  • The 19-year-old son needs a size 34/32 in pants and a medium shirt.
  • The mother needs a size 14 pants and extra large shirts.
  • The father wears a size 36/30 pants, and an extra large shirt.
  • Monetary donations and household items are also being accepted.

    There is also a donation drop off point at Central Baptist Church located on Honeysuckle Road.
