Here's an update on a story News 4 told you about earlier this week
Eighty-two dogs rescued from a South Walton County puppy mill are being cared for at an animal control shelter in Chipley.
We visited the facility to find out what may be in store for the animals that were rescued from the puppy mill operated by 69-year-old Betty Keller and 42-year-old Von Arna Keller.
It will cost Walton County around $3,000 per week to care for all 82 dogs at the Chipley Animal Control Shelter.
At this time, Walton County is not accepting any financial donations and/or adoption requests for these dogs, but shelter officials say they're definitely taking well to all the tender loving care.
We will let you know when the rescued dogs will be available for foster homes and eventually adoption.
