Houston County Sheriff Lamar Glover cleaned out his evidence locker and destroyed the contents at the Dothan City Landfill.

Alabama law says the evidence has to be retained on file until it is no longer needed by the courts.

Everything from Cocaine and Marijuana to methamphetamine and the date rape drug GHB was soaked with diesel fuel and set aflame.

Sheriff Lamar Glover says his office also destroyed about 300 guns that had been confiscated in recent years.
