Riley Recall Web Site

Internet

There's a move to recall Gov. Bob Riley, but not so fast, officials say it won't get very far.

Recall Riley.com criticizes the GOP governor for trying to raise taxes and for cutting state services.

Riley's spokesman, David Azbell, points out the creator of the Web site remains anonymous. He says it's only a political stunt. The site encourages Alabamians to register a name, telephone number and e-mail address if they support kicking Riley out of office.

Alabama has no recall provisions in the state Constitution.
