Dothan City School Superintendent Evaluated

Dothan City School Superintendent Dr. Leon Hobbs received his job evaluation and was awarded an extra year to his contract.

During Monday night's school board meeting, the board ranked Hobbs' performance on the job as satisfactory.

Twenty-seven-state issued measures were used to evaluate Hobbs' performance which ranked 2.96 on a 4.0 scale.

In addition, board members approved expanding Hobbs' contract by one year, keeping the superintendent in office until 2009.
