A Dothan woman says she's lucky to be alive after a vehicle crashed into her home.

The incident happened around 3:20 a.m. Tuesday at Charter House Apartments on Fortner Street.

Police say a vehicle apparently ran a stop sign on Langly Drive, jumped the curb and slammed into one of the apartment buildings.

She says it's only by the grace of God that she wasn't in bed at the time.

Police say the vehicle that did all the damage fled the scene.

Anyone with information about a recently damaged car or truck should contact the Dothan Police Department.
