Man Pleads Guilty to Dog Fights and Drug Charges

A man who pleaded guilty to dog fights and drug charges will now spend 11 years in prison.

Timothy McCleod was arrested in August 2005 on 14 counts of dog fighting and possession of a controlled substance.

McCleod pleaded guilty to charges of training and fighting dogs in his backyard.

He was denied probation and is now facing 11-years in prison.

The 11 years is one year for each of the nine dogs that were put down, one year for possession of a controlled substance, and one year for possession of marijuana.
