Former President Bill Clinton is one of the outspoken opponents of California's recall election. He campaigned for Gov. Gray Davis at a Los Angeles church Sunday.
Clinton told members of First AME Church that recalling Gov. Davis would, "create a circumstance where nobody ever makes a hard decision again."
Clinton says he got a laugh out of the initial recall talk, but he says, "it's not funny anymore."
The pastor of the church, Cecil Murray, is a prominent opponent of the recall. He encourages church members to vote to keep Davis in office.
