Authorities say it’s fortunate no one was seriously injured, or even killed during a party which turned violent.
Around 1:30 Saturday morning, Geneva police received a report of gunfire in the parking lot of the Farm Center on Highway 52.
Police say a group rented the facility for the party.
After an argument with several people, John Pichon reportedly took a semi-automatic handgun and began firing.
One bullet struck a person in the leg. That person was treated and released from an area emergency room.
Pichon was released from jail Monday with $5,000 bonds.
He faces charges of assault with a firearm
