Salvation Army’s Kettle Drive Begins

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas and sound a lot like it too. Salvation Army kettle bells are ringing to remind us to help others at this holiday season.

Last year's kettle drive collected more than 100,000 dollars.

Salvation Army officials say all of that money stays in the Wiregrass area.

The funds help more than 1,000 families each Christmas.

The money also provides assistance to Geneva, Henry and Houston County residents with food, rent, utilities and medicine during the year.
