The twister touched down yesterday evening in Oviedo, an Orlando
suburb. The National Weather Service says it was a "strong
F-One," a ranking that ranges from 73 to 112 miles-an-hour.
Building inspectors are out surveying the damage.
About 4,700 residents in the Winter Springs and Longwood areas lost power.
Fire officials say in Orange County, roofs were torn off and
windows were broken at one apartment complex. Some residents had to be evacuated.
