Westbrook Textile Plant

One Samson textile company said the "Made in the USA" label has become a big seller, especially since Sept. 11, and that means more employees are needed.

Westbrook Textiles Incorporated is looking to fill those positions.

The sewing machines run non-stop at the Westbrook Textile Plant in Samson. Over the last year, the company's line of women's ready-to-wear clothing has become a hot seller. When you see the "Just Jef in the USA" label, be assured it's been made in Western Geneva County.

With the closings of Van Heusen, Russell and several other textile manufacturers in Geneva County, all the sewing jobs could head outside the U.S., but that's not necessarily the case.

Besides manufacturing it's own women's clothing line, Westbrook Incorporated also fills orders for several nationwide discount chains.
