Investigators say a fire that gutted a Dothan home Wednesday night is suspicious.
Flames had already engulfed the back of a house in the 200 block of Webb Road when firefighters got the call.
Officials say the home was not occupied and was in the process of being remodeled.
Since there was no electricity in the house, investigators are questioning the cause of the fire.
The Dothan Fire Marshall's office and the police department are still trying to determine how the fire started.
