Troy's Lighthouse Hospice is joining over 2,700 Hospice providers throughout the U.S. to celebrate National Hospice Month.
The purpose is to raise awareness about hospice and the services offered.
Troy's mayor, Jimmy Lunsford, signed a proclamation today announcing Troy's participation in National Hospice Month.
Lighthouse Hospice is the only locally owned hospice in Pike County and its surrounding area.
